Belarus —Bangladesh business forum and contact – cooperation exchange

On the 9th of July 2013 Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a Belarus —Bangladesh business forum and contact – cooperation exchange between Belarusian and Bangladesh business circles in the context of the Bangladesh People’s Republic Prime-minister Sh. Hasin’s official visit to the Republic of Belarus.bangladesh

The Prime-minister of the Republic of Belarus M.V. Myasnikovich and the Prime-minister of the Bangladesh People’s Republic Sh. Hasin took part in the business forum. The representatives of the Belarusian business circles including RUP Belenergosetproekt (Head of Power Systems Department Orlov A.M. and Acting head of Technical Department Orlova V.P.) also took part in the forum.

The representatives of the Belarusian and the Bangladesh business circles spoke at the first meeting of the Belarus – Bangladesh Business Council held in the context of the forum. Michail Myatlikov the Chairman of the BelCCI and the President of the Bangladesh CCI Federation Khazi Akram Uddin Achmed were chosen the Co-chairmen of the Business Council. The parts agreed to hold sessions of the Business Council yearly on the regular basis in each country in turn. Mr. Achmed expressed his willingness to accept a delegation of the Belarusian business circles in 2014.

The representatives of the Belarusian (55 companies) and the Bangladesh (16 companies) business circles discussed the cooperation issues of current importance in different spheres of activities in the course of the contact – cooperation exchange. And the representatives of RUP Belenergosetproekt discussed the possible lines of activities in the sphere of energy with the representatives of Bangladesh organizations, interested in the Bangladesh energy development, in particular with Tabarakul Tosaddek Hossan Khan Tito the Director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the owner of the company M/s Munnu Filling Station and with M.A. Muhaimin Saleh the President of the Bangladesh Tourist Agencies Association, the Chairman of Simon Group of Companies.

In the course of the talks the above mentioned Bangladesh representatives were given a commercial offer and were assured in RUP Belenergosetproekt willingness to carry out the designs of the electricity objects for the Bangladesh Energy System.

The representatives of RUP Belenergosetproekt were informed by the representatives of   the Bangladesh organizations they would study the commercial offer and if interested hold the talks dealing with the specific electricity objects.
